Object

To move all cards to the Foundations.

Layout

  • 1 Ace Foundation - build with Aces only, alternating in color until the pile contains all 8 Aces.
  • 8 Evens Foundations - build up in suit by twos, starting with Twos. (Two, Four, Six, Eight, Ten, Queen).
  • 8 Odds Foundations - build up in suit by twos, starting with Threes. (Three, Five, Seven, Nine, Jack [there are no Kings]).
  • 8 Tableau piles - top card is available for play on the Foundations. No building until the Stock is empty. At that time build down in suit. Spaces are filled by 4 cards from the Waste, unless the Waste is empty, when they are filled by the Stock (if the Stock is empty, they are filled by any card).
  • Stock (face down) - Turn over 1 card at a time to the Waste pile. No redeal.
  • Waste - top card is available for play.

Play

4 cards each are dealt to 8 Tableau piles. The top card of each pile is available for play to foundations. Aces are moved to the Ace Foundations, which is built by Aces of opposite colors. Twos are moved to the Evens Foundations, which are built up in suit by twos (even number cards). Threes are moved to the Odds Foundations, which are built up in suit by twos (odd number cards). Spaces in the Tableau are filled by 4 cards from the Waste (if the Waste is empty, the cards come from the Stock. If the Stock is empty, the space may be filled by any available card).

The Stock is turned over to the Waste 1 card at a time. The top card of the Waste is available for play. There is no redeal.

There is no building allowed in the Tableau until the Stock is empty. Then the Tableau piles may be built down in suit.
